I liked the picture from the mountain top in Mauritius--very dramatic. I think your camera may have a setting for flourescent lighting, which tends to turn people yellow. Check the manual under "white balance," if you are shooting indoors with flourescent: the camera has all sorts of settings for things like candlelight, aerial photographs, or cloudy days. Also, you can govern how many pixels you get by adjusting the quality of the image.
